Honestly, not alot of  people can pull off  babies…the colors that is. You know the lilac, nursary purples, the lulabye blues and the baby doll, sugar-coated, pinks– without seeming a bit juvenile.. and perhaps a tad washed out at times,

Yet, low and behold, this pretty lady has  and with a darling french twist,

Maybe its the blond or perhaps the somer shoes …though I’m sure its the classic combination of the strips, pearls, and tights.  But  i guess will never know how it works, –it just does & J’dore!!

and on the face of this  femme fetal she shades her eyes with the envy of my existence- -

The classic, irovy bone, heart-breaking, sell my soul …CHLOES. I might sound very Sex and City and I do apologize… BUTTT  ever inch of my tanited, fashion soaked heart is passionatly in love with these frames- and have been since 2007 i might add, because after all, I’m still female.

Ahhh, sigh..one day,oneday..

After a day of very little photographic inspiration, I was about give up, hop on my bike and ride along home.…

yet as I approached my bike there she stood, just standing there…Waiting…Finally,

 Her effortless stance was almost intimidating, as she seemed completely un-phased and oblivious as to how well she was dressed.  She had this natural edge that was individual to the core and almost impossible to duplicate. The outfit seemed thrown together without a second thought, but just a whim of subconscious routine. Yet, there was strategy, in color, detail, texture and balance, it was just unpredictable. That’s the illusion; the paradox I love to find.

 

But it didn’t stop there..

 Apparently boys are kind of cool somtimes too…

but only when they do tricks…

on red skateboards…

( that’s damn risque wearing all white, no??)

 

Now, I have never seen someone dress so damn well skateborading and honestly,   I wouldn’t mind if it continues.

I’ve always been obsessed with Androgynous fashion. Personally, I believe its the epitome of female fashion. Let’s please temporarily lose these colorful dainty frocks and flower power mini’s, at least just for the cooler days get a little more serious. Who knew that these fashion forward females, with a rebellious sense of style are carelessly sitting outside our very own MUSC , either lighting a smoke or walking to class…

 It’s modern, classic and empowering all at once.  It’s sexy and suttle, yet terribly modest in structure, pattern and color.

Yet, strangely it screams for attention. It’s blunt and badass and should be acknowledge a little more in these repetitive and dull fashion mags which continually attempt to  teach which dress  would suit our ever fluctuating body types…..but honestly…. WHO CARES!! I got an idea that will solve this LITTLE predicament, put on a suit.

It Simply doesn’t get sexier then a top hat, a fitted blazer and a sweet pair of Oxfords.

 If you ask me, Chanel would be proud.

Libraries always seem to attract the most fascinating individuals…

Her coat seemed like something that slipped out of Picasso’s cubism movement .

For a jacket, it defined extrovert fashion.

Yet, after meeting the individual behind the statement piece, it was clear that if anyone could pull off this ensemble it was this female and her modest charm.

And sometimes, when I least expect it, I’ll stumble upon an individual who is dressed in perfect accordance with their surroundings.

The hues blend into the environment so well, that one begins to contemplate the possibility of  inspiration stemming from the precise spot in which the image was captured,

Who knew that hair could complement an outfit so nicely?

The one who ALMOST got away.

I love when things clash and people get risky.

When checkers and strips and cowboy boots fall neatly into place. When you can’t really put your finger on it, but some how, by some detrimental, ancient  fashion rule, it all works well.

but how and why does this work!?

The secret; the heart of the outfit is solid black.hence,anything goes.
