[spacer height="20px"]Syed Bakht did not respond to the request for an interview from The Silhouette. The following information was reported by The Hamilton Spectator.

Bakht is self-employed in tax and accounting services. He was involved with the finance department of United Way for six years.

Bakht’s platform priorities include basic services, existing playgrounds and small business growth. He emphasizes the importance of addressing affordable housing.

This candidate does “not necessarily” support the LRT project. Rather, he believes more research on the project and its financial ramifications should be undertaken.

For more information, Bakht can be contacted at [email protected].
